Decisions, decisions....
Sometimes when we read, we form opinions about whether what the character did was right or wrong. In chapter 2 in Justin and the Best Biscuits in the World, Justin has some problems he has to face.
Do you think that he handled the problem in a good or bad way? Explain, in detail, your thinking. Use examples from the book to support your ideas.

Welcome To Our Blog!

When you read a story that really interests you, you have made some sort of connection to the book. Maybe one of the characters reminds you of yourself or someone you know! Maybe the main character is struggling with the same problem you are dealing with in your real life! Making connections to books is very important. It shows you are really understanding what you are reading.

Think about the first chapter that you read today in Justin and the Best Biscuits in the World. What connection did you make in the chapter? Explain to me what your connection was and how it is important to you. Explain why it makes you want to read more.

New Beginnings!

Dear Future Students,

Pack your bags full of pencils, paper, and books! The school year is about to begin and it is waiting for you! Summer does go by fast but so does the school year when you are having fun with learning. This is my goal for you as a student: to make you want to work as hard as you can because you see that learning is important and exciting. We will set many goals throughout the year, both educational and personal. Although I may know a few of you from years past, I am looking forward to meet many new faces! See you soon!

Schools out for Summer!

I can say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this school year. The students are not the only ones who come to school to learn! Each group brings new experiences for me to navigate through. I believe that when you stop learning that means you have lost your passion for whatever it is you are doing. Students, keep learning as you soak up that summer sun! Have a great summer and see you next school year!

I Can!!!!

With the EOGs coming up, we tend to get nervous. Our school has been working on our "I can" statements to build our confidence. We know that we can do SO many things when we stop to think about it. Think of your favorite "I can" statement and write it under the comments section. Lets see all of the things we CAN DO!

Chapter 4

Justin has a good relationship with his grandfather. He looks up to him as a role model and loves and respects him. Who, in your family, is someone close to you like Grandfather to Justin? How do you treat them? What are some special things you and this person do?
