When you read a story that really interests you, you have made some sort of connection to the book. Maybe one of the characters reminds you of yourself or someone you know! Maybe the main character is struggling with the same problem you are dealing with in your real life! Making connections to books is very important. It shows you are really understanding what you are reading.
Think about the first chapter that you read today in Justin and the Best Biscuits in the World. What connection did you make in the chapter? Explain to me what your connection was and how it is important to you. Explain why it makes you want to read more.
