The school year is about to begin and it is waiting for you! Summer does go by fast but so does the school year when you are having fun with learning. This is my goal for you as a student: to make you want to work as hard as you can because you see that learning is important and exciting. We will set many goals throughout the year, both educational and personal. Although I may know a few of you from years past, I am looking forward to meet many new faces! Maybe one of the characters reminds you of yourself or someone you know! Maybe the main character is struggling with the same problem you are dealing with in your real life! Making connections to books is very important. It shows you are really understanding what you are reading. Think about the first chapter that you read yesterday in Justin and the Best Biscuits in the World. What connection did you make in the chapter? Explain to me what your connection was and how it is important to you. I feel it too but sure enough it is coming! Yes, I have bought some pencils, pens, and highlighters. I have checked the latest fashions in totes for all of my books. I am getting prepared and slowly getting excited about getting back into learning mode! So what have you been doing to get ready for school? Have you bought your uniforms?
